Sustainability
We are geared up to tackle the urgent global climate situation
Here at Alliance Ambulance Service, we are committed to taking action to combat the global climate emergency. We understand that it is a collective effort and that everyone must take appropriate action to reduce their carbon footprint.
Reducing our Carbon Footprint
We are actively working to reduce our carbon emissions in our vehicles. We are actively investing in a modern fleet that is more fuel-efficient and produces fewer emissions. We also provide training and encourage our drivers to adopt eco-driving techniques, such as maintaining a steady speed and avoiding unnecessary idling, to further reduce our carbon footprint.
Digital Presence
Did you know that the Internet alone requires over 400 terawatt-hours per year to operate and produces around 3.7% of global greenhouse gas emissions? That's comparable to the amount produced by the global airline industry. While individual websites' carbon footprint may seem small, it all adds up.
That's why we are proud to say that websites on allianceambulance.co.uk are powered entirely by renewable power. This can be verified via The Green Web Foundation.
We are committed to continuously finding ways to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices throughout our organisation. By working together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and help combat the global climate emergency.
