Alliance Ambulance Services Ltd., trading as Alliance Ambulance Service, opposes all forms of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and transparently in all aspects of our work.

Alliance Ambulance Services Ltd. is a private limited company registered in Scotland (Company No: SC590014). We provide:

• Patient transport services, including palliative, bariatric, and end-of-life care
• Medical repatriation for patients returning to the UK
• Event medical cover and standby services
• Community health outreach activities

Our services are delivered within the UK, with occasional international operations linked to UK-based cases.

2. Legal and Policy Framework

We comply with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and recognise our duty to prevent modern slavery in our organisation and supply chains. This statement sets out the steps we take to meet these responsibilities.

3. Employment Practices

We are committed to fair recruitment and employment.

• Provide terms and conditions that meet or exceed legal requirements
• Carry out appropriate checks, including criminal records, where relevant

4. Suppliers and Third Parties

We expect suppliers, contractors and other third parties to uphold the law and maintain ethical standards.

We expect them to:

• Comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015
• Have appropriate policies and controls to prevent exploitation
• Cooperate with any requests for information, review or audit
• Act on concerns raised about their practices or supply chains

Where there are doubts about compliance, we reserve the right to reconsider working arrangements.

5. Training and Awareness

All staff receive training on safeguarding and identifying potential signs of exploitation.

We aim to ensure that staff understand how to report concerns and why vigilance is necessary.

6. Reporting and Response

We provide mechanisms for staff and others to raise concerns confidentially.

We will:

• Treat all reports seriously
• Investigate promptly
• Take action where any risk or evidence of modern slavery is identified

We keep this statement under regular review.
